Open Sourcing our Way to the SDGs
As part of Openhack’s involvement in the UN’S Global Week to #ACT4SDGs on 18-26 September 2020, we are hosting a unique panel discussion focused on exploring how the open source movement enhances the way we work to achieve the SDGs and secondly, review ongoing open source projects getting us there through our visionary panelists.
The panel is composed of Ben Cerveny (President of The Foundation for Public Code), Ada Nduka Oyom (Founder of She for Africa & Co-founder of Open Source Community Africa), Tanmay Bakshi (16-year-old author, Youtuber, TED&Keynote speaker, Developer & Dev Advocate @ IBM), Angela Oduor Lungati (Exec Director at Ushahidi), Audace Niyonkuru (CEO at Digital Umuganda). The discussion will be moderated by Inês Boski (Core team lead at Openhack).
